The retrograde of MRAPs from Afghanistan is proving to be expensive. In addition, many question the continued need for the MRAPs. The MRAP was built specifically for a counterinsurgency conflict where insurgents used improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to blow up vehicles along roads.
